CMMB’s Medical Volunteer Program -- MVPs for Change -- places licensed healthcare professionals at faith-based healthcare facilities in resource-poor countries. Doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals devote themselves to helping those most in need for periods ranging from a few weeks to a few years. Healthcare professionals in a wide range of disciplines participate, with an emphasis on primary healthcare. CMMB-supported physicians and nurses worked in HIV and AIDS treatment programs in Africa, in health education in Thailand, and in primary healthcare programs in rural settings in Latin America.
CMMB can be your doorway to a service experience you will remember for the rest of your life. If you are a U.S. or Canadian licensed healthcare professional seeking an opportunity to serve those in need around the world, CMMB will match you with a challenging mission where your professional skills will make a meaningful difference.
