CMMB Peru
Peru is the location of one of CMMB’s newest programs, Unidos Contra la Mortalidad Infantil, a primary healthcare initiative aimed at decreasing morbidity and mortality in children under five years of age in three key regions: Trujillo, Huancayo, and Chimbote. The program, implemented in partnership with Bon Secours Health System, CHRISTUS Health, and Caritas del Peru, integrates home visits for expectant mothers, Integrated Management of Neonatal and Childhood Illnesses (IMNCI) training and services, and nutritional community surveillance.
