Nurse Sharon Barefoot

Sharon Barefoot is a nurse from Albuquerque, New Mexico who will be volunteering in Cap-Haitien, Haiti at Hopital St. Francois de Sales.  Sharon has a wide ranging nursing career, from general nursing to cardiopulmonary care to pediatrics.  In the past, she has volunteered with various organizations including CARE 66, a non-profit serving the homeless in Gallup, New Mexico, and with the Board of Wild Sage Natural Foods Co-op.  In Haiti, Sharon will be working out of mobile clinics which serve the population surrounding the hospital.  She looks forward to being immersed in a new culture and learning from others.
